## Description

Broadway Scorecard is an independent theatre-review platform that helps audiences compare Broadway and Off-Broadway shows through aggregated critic ratings. It combines reviews from more than 800 critics across over 350 outlets, including The New York Times, Vulture, and Variety, and turns them into a single weighted score for each show. Reviews are normalized to a 0–100 scale, with outlet influence and critic track records factored into the calculation. Scores are updated daily, giving visitors a concise way to assess a production without reading numerous individual reviews.

The site features listings for musicals and plays, including originals and revivals, with critic scores, audience grades, show status, and closing information where available. Users can browse by category or audience interest, explore critic and outlet information, and learn how the scoring methodology works. Broadway Scorecard also offers a watchlist and theatre diary for tracking shows, along with review-submission and feedback options. Its free service covers Broadway and Off-Broadway, with additional theatre guides and resources for audiences planning what to see.
