## Description

Brockley Max is an annual festival that celebrates the vibrant and creative community in Brockley. For nine days every summer, the festival brings together a diverse range of events, including live music, theatre, art exhibitions, comedy shows, poetry nights, and workshops. With over 70 events, there's something for everyone to enjoy. One of the festival's highlights is the Opening Night, which kickstarts the festivities and sets the tone for the entire event. Throughout the festival, attendees can explore a variety of venues showcasing the talent and creativity of the local community. Brockley Max is not just about entertainment; it also aims to promote and support the community. The festival features initiatives like the Black Female Icons of Lewisham Mural, where four incredible black women were honored through beautiful artwork. Additionally, there is a steering committee and a schools competition that encourages involvement and participation from all.
