Vale Of Glamorgan Broadcasting, also known as Bro Radio, is a local community radio station that serves Barry, Llantwit Major, Penarth, and the surrounding areas in the Vale of Glamorgan. Approved by industry regulator OFCOM, Bro Radio is dedicated to promoting social identity and community pride among the urban, rural, and coastal communities within the county. With a strong focus on local content, Bro Radio provides a diverse range of programming throughout the day, featuring locally relevant news, information, and music.

During daytime programming, listeners can enjoy a mix of today's new and chart music, as well as hits from 1975 to the present. Evenings and weekends are dedicated to specialist music genres, including Rock, Reggae, Classical, and Welsh Language music. Bro Radio broadcasts for a minimum of 84 hours per week, with a significant portion of the programming being locally-produced.

As a community station, Bro Radio relies on the dedicated efforts of around 60 volunteers and two staff members, who ensure that listeners stay updated with the latest local information, news, events, and travel updates. With an expanding FM coverage that reaches from Sully to St Donats, Bro Radio continues to fulfill its mission of offering an alternative to commercial and national radio by educating, entertaining, informing, and engaging with the local community
