## Description

The Brown Cup is a university rowing event featuring men’s and women’s teams from the University of Victoria (UVic) and the University of British Columbia (UBC). Its website provides information for spectators and participants, including details about the race, course, rules and umpiring, travel, team lineups, sponsors, and the event’s origins and history. Historical results and all-time win totals highlight the competition’s record: UVic has 20 men’s wins and 25 women’s wins, while UBC has 13 men’s wins and seven women’s wins.

The 2026 Brown Cup is scheduled for March 28 on the Gorge Waterway in Victoria, British Columbia. Raceday programming begins with “Tale of the Tape” at 9:00 a.m., followed by men’s and women’s reserve races, then men’s and women’s varsity races. An awards ceremony is listed for 2:30 p.m. The site also provides a 2026 livestream link and directs visitors to UVic and UBC social channels, making it a central source for race-day schedules, viewing information, and event background.
