## Description

Bruce Power is a Canadian-owned partnership comprised of TC Energy, OMERS, the Power Workers’ Union, and The Society of United Professionals. Established in 2001, it operates as Canada’s only private sector nuclear generator and produces approximately 30% of Ontario's electricity. Bruce Power is committed to delivering a reliable, carbon-free energy source and has undertaken a significant life-extension initiative, investing $13 billion to refurbish six of its eight reactors under a long-term agreement with the Ontario government. This program is not only pivotal for energy sustainability until 2064 but is also projected to create and sustain 22,000 jobs annually while contributing $4 billion to the local economy each year.

The organization strives for transparency and corporate responsibility, emphasizes environmental protection, and actively honors the history and culture of Indigenous communities in the region. With a workforce of over 4,000, Bruce Power remains dedicated to enhancing Ontario's electricity infrastructure while ensuring that all assets are maintained within the public ownership framework.
