## Description

Brunlanes Historielag is a cultural heritage association based in Larvik, Norway, with around 310 members. The organization works to preserve and share the history of Brunlanes through events, local research, publications, and community activities. Its resources include Brunlanes local-history books and the Nesjarheftet, alongside stories and information about the area’s heritage.

The association owns two historic properties: Halle Mølle and the former Brunlanes Herredshus. Halle Mølle serves as a local museum and heritage site, displaying objects that illustrate the area’s history and former livelihoods. During summer mill days, visitors can enjoy exhibitions, talks, artistic performances, crafts for sale, and refreshments.

The former municipal hall, located at Tanum, hosts the association’s meetings and is available to rent for gatherings such as celebrations, confirmations, birthdays, and meetings. It includes a large hall, two smaller rooms, and an equipped kitchen. Brunlanes Historielag also arranges lectures, genealogy courses, and other events, while sharing news and historical material through its website and newsletter.
