## Description

The Bürgerschützenverein Bochum-Stiepel 1854 e.V. is a community-focused shooting and cultural association rooted in Stiepel, Bochum, since 1854. With 345 members across six companies—Brockhausen, Dorf, Henkenberg, Lottental, Mailand and Mittelstiepel—the club brings residents together through tradition, sport, celebrations and neighborhood activities. Its sporting program includes regular company and battalion comparison shoots, with results and schedules shared with members. The association also hosts social events such as summer and seasonal gatherings, a New Year reception, and activities for families. Its signature Schützenfest combines music, a children’s festival, royal shooting, parades and community celebrations; the next large festival is scheduled for September 7–10, 2028, in Stiepel. The club maintains a venue at Kosterstraße 82A and shares news, event information, results and historical accounts of its development. Local businesses can support the association through linked promotional placements and a supporter directory, helping them connect with the community while contributing to an active piece of Stiepel’s heritage.
