## Description

BTCNJ (Bicycle Touring Club of North Jersey) is a recreational bicycling club based in Bergen County, NJ. We offer group rides in Bergen, Passaic, Essex, Morris counties in NJ, as well as Rockland and Orange counties in NY. As a non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers, BTCNJ promotes and fosters the joy of bicycling. With over 2,000 rides scheduled annually, we cater to riders of all abilities and levels. These group rides are led by experienced cyclists, with periodic stops to regroup and provide support. Joining BTCNJ not only allows you to ride with friends and make new connections but also provides an opportunity to explore different scenic locations. In addition to rides, we organize multiday trips across the US and occasionally in other countries, providing hotel-based accommodations so that you don't have to carry your luggage on the bike. We also host non-riding events like monthly meetings, happy hours, picnics, and an annual anniversary party. As a member of BTCNJ, you'll be part of a diverse community of approximately 1,300 individuals who share a passion for cycling. Whether you're a novice or an expert, being a member of a biking club like BTCNJ is an excellent way to enhance your cycling skills. To join us and become a better cyclist, you can contact us or visit our website for membership details and dues. We look forward to welcoming you to the BTCNJ family and embarking on unforgettable biking adventures together.
