Since 2010, the founder, Dave Macleod, has been traveling the world, crossing off items from his own bucket list. His experiences include scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef, plummeting down a waterfall in a whitewater raft, earning his pilots license, skydiving over the Southern Alps of New Zealand, and many other thrilling adventures. Born and raised in Canada, Dave Macleod was exposed to travel from a young age, which ignited his passion for exploration. In 2009, while reflecting on the incredible opportunities the world has to offer, he decided to create a list of 100 bucket list items. This list served as a roadmap for his subsequent adventures. Now, BucketLaunch has evolved into more than just a personal project. People frequently ask Dave about his list and how he got started. Through the brand, Dave aims to share his experiences, lessons, and valuable life insights with others. Whether it's through his blog, bucket list gallery, or personal contact, Dave wants to inspire and help individuals across the globe to achieve their own goals and live life to the fullest.
