## Description

Buckle Up for Life is a national child passenger safety education program, created by Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center and Toyota. Our mission is to empower all families to buckle up and go safely by making every car ride safe for every child. We achieve this by educating caregivers across the country about safe travels, one family, one car seat, one lesson at a time. Our team consists of certified child passenger safety experts, including Toyota safety engineers, Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center trauma surgeons, child passenger safety technicians, and researchers. We work in collaboration with local organizations to provide one-on-one education to parents and make information accessible to everyone online. Our efforts have proven successful in increasing child safety. In one city alone, we tripled the number of children properly buckled up in families who participated in our programs. With the support of our partners, we continue to expand our reach and make a difference in communities. For instance, our collaboration with University Health System in San Antonio, TX, resulted in a 15% increase in the use of booster seats among elementary students in Bexar County. We are committed to eliminating motor vehicle-related injuries and deaths among children, and our goal is to be the leader in child passenger safety education.
