## Description

Buddíci is a compassionate initiative dedicated to helping Ukrainians learn Slovak and integrate into Slovak society. This project connects volunteers, referred to as "Buddíci," with Ukrainian individuals seeking to improve their Slovak language skills. By committing just four hours a month, volunteers engage in weekly conversational sessions, fostering not only language proficiency but also cultural exchange and supportive relationships.

The program does not require prior teaching experience or knowledge of Ukrainian or Russian; it simply asks for a desire to help. Buddíci provides all necessary guidance and teaching materials. The sessions aim to break down language barriers that hinder daily activities, such as job hunting and social interactions. Testimonials from participants highlight the meaningful connections formed and the tangible impact of this assistance, transforming language learning into a fulfilling, community-building experience. Join Buddíci today to make a significant difference in the lives of those affected by the war in Ukraine and help them feel at home in Slovakia.
