## Description

Bughaw Innovations is a Philippine company developing biodegradable hospitality amenities from locally sourced coconut husk fibre. Its BughawPack line uses coconut coir composite, made with plant-based binders, to offer hotels an alternative to plastic-heavy disposable items. The material is designed to handle guest use like plastic while breaking down like plant matter after a stay.

BughawPack covers five use cases across guest rooms and back-of-house operations, including vanity kits, shampoo holders, slippers, room-bin liners, and other essentials. The company says its products undergo durability, cosmetic stability, and guest-handling checks expected of hotel amenities.

Bughaw Innovations works with hotels seeking to reduce disposable plastic and support a zero-waste guest experience. It is accepting expressions of interest from Metro Manila properties for pilot programs. These pilots include sample rollouts, a six-week operating cadence, waste audits, and a written ESG impact note for reporting. The company can also provide room-specific product recommendations, timelines, and reporting metrics. Hotels, press, and potential partners can contact Bughaw Innovations for samples, product information, or partnership inquiries.
