## Description

The New York Building Congress is an industry organization committed to promoting the growth and success of New York City’s building and construction sector. It brings together industry leaders, policymakers, and professionals, offering members opportunities to build connections, follow emerging trends, and contribute to discussions about the city’s built environment.

The organization supports the industry through advocacy, research, education, and public engagement. Its resources include reports and analysis on construction outlooks, infrastructure, energy, workforce issues, and key industry sectors. Members and other participants can attend networking and educational events, join committees and councils, and access industry news, legislative tracking, and policy information. The Congress also provides a member directory and advertising opportunities to showcase participating organizations.

Through the New York Building Foundation, established in 1998, the organization advances research, education, and philanthropy in support of New York City’s building industry and community. Together, the Congress and Foundation serve as a platform for collaboration and informed discussion about the development and welfare of the city’s built environment.
