Through our Service Learning Programs in underserved American high schools and by constructing schools in some of the world's poorest countries, we are committed to eradicating poverty, illiteracy, and low expectations.

Our initiatives mirror this commitment. In the US, our Service Learning Programs mobilize students in under-resourced urban areas to uplift their communities through intensive local service. These programs operate across 30 high schools in six regions, including Boston, Chicago, Detroit, New York, the Bay Area, and Bridgeport, Connecticut.

Globally, we empower villages in economically disadvantaged countries by enabling them to spearhead education initiatives within their communities. We construct schools every two days in eight countries, such as Burkina Faso, Haiti, Mali, Malawi, Nepal, Nicaragua, Guatemala, and Senegal, having built over 2,000 schools so far. None of our work would be possible without the dedicated individuals who comprise buildOn.
