## Description

Bulldozia is an engaging online platform curated by Alasdair Pettinger, dedicated to research and teaching in the field of Black Atlantic studies. Bridging the cultural and historical connections between Europe, the Caribbean, and the United States, the site offers a rich repository of materials including short essays, archival texts, bibliographies, and links to related resources. Key sections explore pivotal topics such as the influence of abolitionist Frederick Douglass in Scotland, case studies on racial segregation, and significant historical texts on voodoo and vaudoux.

The blog also features personal reflections and updates on ongoing projects, including an exploration of the Moses/Exodus motif and the "Liberty or Death" slogan. With an academic focus that aims to illuminate the complexities of intercontinental exchange initiated during the transatlantic slave trade, Bulldozia is a vital resource for anyone interested in these significant historical narratives and their lasting impact on society today.
