## Description

BUMPS FOR BOOMERS is an Aspen, Colorado, ski instruction program specializing in mogul and powder skiing. Founded in 2001, it has helped nearly 5,000 skiers build confidence on bump terrain. Its four-day clinics are designed primarily for intermediate adult skiers who want to improve their control, move beyond groomed runs, and explore more of the mountain. The program also offers Basic Bumps sessions for beginner and novice mogul skiers, a Master of Bumps Academy for returning participants, custom clinics, and private mogul ski lessons.

Instruction focuses on a low-impact, efficient approach intended to be easier on the knees, muscles, and back, without relying on exceptionally fast reflexes. Lessons cover balance and posture on steep terrain, turn initiation, speed control, upper-body use, and how to manage moguls, powder, crud, and off-piste conditions. The skills are intended to help skiers ski with greater confidence, flow, and control while reducing fatigue. Clinics take place on Aspen Mountain, with scheduled sessions during the winter season.
