## Description

Bunny and the Boys is a drag-racing team and fan community centered on the career and legacy of Bunny Burkett, a celebrated driver with 55 years in racing. The team’s website shares its history, news, biographies, photographs, videos, fan submissions, and memories, alongside a guestbook and merchandise. Bunny’s achievements included the 1986 IHRA World Championship, an NHRA Division championship, and induction into several racing halls of fame. She was also recognized by Drag Racing List and Racin’ & Rockin’ Radio as the top female Alcohol Funny Car driver of all time. The site recounts her resilience after a serious 1995 crash and later health challenges, as well as her determination to keep driving. It also follows team member Lil’ Bear, or Gary Aaron Pritchett, from junior racing to work with professional Top Fuel teams and occasional match races in Bunny’s car. Bunny passed away peacefully on April 4, 2020. Today, the site serves as a tribute to her racing life, the team, and the supporters who followed them.
