Burgcafe Burghausen, located on the longest castle in the world in Burghausen, welcomes you to indulge in a unique dining experience. With a seating capacity of up to 70 people indoors and approximately 150 seats outdoors, we provide plenty of space for your enjoyment.

At Burgcafe, we are open from Wednesday to Sunday, from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. We are also open on public holidays, even if they happen to fall on our regular closing day. However, in case of inclement weather or when there are no more visitors around, we may close earlier, so we recommend calling ahead.

Run by the Loibl family, our fully-fledged restaurant also offers a delightful selection of coffee and cake. The ambiance is absolutely unparalleled, both indoors and in our beer garden, known as Pfistergartl, located on the slopes of the castle with a stunning view over the Wöhrsee at the foot of the castle. Burgcafe Burghausen is the perfect venue for a variety of events, including weddings, birthdays, confirmations, baptisms, and children's parties.

Our excellent cuisine and friendly service, accompanied by a fine glass of wine or beer, allow you to savor the ambiance while your children play carefree in the beer garden or on the adjacent meadow, as there is no car traffic within the castle premises.
