## Description

Burgess Farms is a family farming business based in East Anglia, with roots dating back to 1898, when founders Harry and Percy Burgess began growing vegetables for sale at a London market. Today, the company combines its own farming with partnerships with expert growers to supply customers with quality conventional and organic produce. Its range includes potatoes, root vegetables and speciality vegetables, including new and distinctive varieties. Burgess Farms packs its produce at its own packhouses and serves customers across the retail, wholesale and processing sectors. The company’s approach centres on applying its growing expertise to challenging crops and delivering produce to meet customer needs. It describes itself as a growing business that values collaboration and long-standing customer relationships. Burgess Farms also highlights its work in areas such as regenerative farming, energy, water and waste, and people and community, reflecting a focus on how food is grown and produced. From its historic East Anglian farming base, the company continues to bring together agricultural experience, grower partnerships and packing capability.
