## Description

Spolu to zvládneme – Burko is a Slovak civic association supporting people with disabilities and their families, particularly those facing difficult circumstances. Its work is inspired by Katka, who passed away as a child and brought people together, helping guide the association’s commitment to supporting others. The organization connects people who need assistance with individuals and groups willing to provide it, believing that even a small contribution can make a meaningful difference.

Through its website, the association shares personal stories and information about ways to give or receive help. It offers guidance for people with disabilities, including information on financial benefits available through the Slovak Labour, Social Affairs and Family Office, and provides details about assistive and medical equipment, including lifting devices. The association also lends healthcare aids and explains how people can direct 2% of their taxes to support its work. Visitors can find information about requesting financial assistance, partners, and support initiatives, as well as guidance on sharing their own stories.
