## Description

Burnet County Area Fair is a nonprofit community organization celebrating local creativity, skills, and traditions in Burnet County and the surrounding Texas Hill Country. Presented by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension of Burnet County, the Highland Lakes Master Gardener Association, the Texas Extension Education Association of Burnet County, the Highland Lakes Quilt Guild, and the Bluebonnet Button Club, the fair brings residents together to share their work and enjoy community activities.

The fair invites exhibitors to enter handmade and homegrown creations, with categories including quilts, arts and crafts, woodworking, photography, metalwork, gardening, baking, and canning. There are no entry fees, and exhibitor information is provided to help participants take part. The organization also offers the Rosalyn Lackey Memorial Scholarship to graduating high school seniors in Burnet County, including students attending public, private, or home school. The 2026 fair is scheduled for June 12–13. The Burnet County Rodeo and fairgrounds are separate from the fair organization.
