The fair is organized by the Burnet County Area Fair Board of Directors, in collaboration with well-established groups such as the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension of Burnet County, Highland Lakes Master Gardener Association, Texas Extension Education Association of Burnet County, Bluebonnet Button Club, and Highland Lakes Quilt Guild. At Burnet County Area Fair, we celebrate our country roots and cowboy boots through a wide range of exhibits and divisions. Participants can showcase their talents in categories like Aprons, Arts and Crafts, Fine Arts, Jewelry, Needlework, Photography, Quilting, and Woodworking, to name a few. We also host exciting events, including an Ice Cream Crank-Off and have various vendors on-site. We take pride in our history, with the fair being held since 1903. Over the years, it has evolved and grown, and now we invite citizens from Burnet, Bell, Blanco, Lampasas, Llano, Travis, and Williamson Counties to join the festivities.
