## Description

Burton Morris is an internationally recognized pop artist celebrated for his vibrant and graphic depictions of iconic everyday objects that resonate with contemporary culture. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1964, Morris honed his artistic talent at Carnegie Mellon University before embarking on a successful career in advertising. In 1990, he launched Burton Morris Studios, where he transformed small, post-pop icons into large-scale paintings designed to create "instant happenings" for viewers.

Morris has gained prominence through collaborations with major brands and has had his artwork featured in iconic television programs, including NBC's "Friends." His distinct style, marked by bold black outlines and electrifying colors, has adorned significant global events such as the Summer Olympics, Academy Awards, and the FIFA World Cup, as well as corporate commissioned works for organizations like The White House and Coca-Cola.

Burton Morris's art not only commands private collections from stars like Oprah Winfrey and Brad Pitt but also contributes to charitable causes worldwide, making him a substantial figure in modern pop art.
