## Description

Burt’s Greenhouses was a family-run horticultural business that served its community for 41 years before retiring. Owners Brian and Ruth reflect on the support of their workers, customers, and suppliers, crediting these relationships as central to the business and its success. The site preserves the greenhouse’s history through newsletters, videos, garden stories, and community projects, including educational activities for children, pollinator initiatives, biological pest control, and information about biomass energy and biochar. Its archived materials also highlight the people and performances featured in the Inch by Inch series and other media. The website lists a range of gardening and greenhouse-related products, including equipment, growing containers, irrigation supplies, fertilizers, soils, and planters, alongside miscellaneous items. It also includes information about property and storage space for sale or rent, as well as a dog park. Although the greenhouse has retired, its website offers a record of the business’s work, community connections, and practical growing resources, while expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed over four decades.
