## Description

BusanWallet is an official Web3 digital wallet for Busan citizens, designed to bring everyday services and digital asset management together in one platform. Developed by Busan-based Anam145, a company founded by key researchers from Korea University’s Graduate School of Information Security, it uses cybersecurity technology to support secure, transparent blockchain-based services. The wallet supports multiple networks, including Busan Net, Bitcoin, and Ethereum, enabling users to manage digital assets and access services such as cryptocurrency payments and NFT ticketing.

BusanWallet aims to connect finance, media, tourism, games, news, culture, and payments, contributing to Busan’s development as a Web3 cultural city. In partnership with the Busan Ilbo newspaper, the platform promotes blockchain-based media and offers a way to support journalists directly with Ethereum; this feature is described as in preparation. It also presents NFT ticketing as a way to support fairer cultural events. BusanWallet is available through Google Play and includes advertising services, with a stated 10% VAT discount for payments made in Ethereum.
