## Description

Paws & Pints is a unique and innovative brand that caters to both pet owners and their four-legged friends. With a vision inspired by a dog-friendly restaurant and bar they visited in Colorado, Kyle and Megan Casey opened Paws & Pints in Des Moines last August. This multifaceted facility spans across 7.2 acres and offers an array of services and amenities. From off-leash outdoor and indoor dog parks with synthetic grass to a bar and restaurant, day and overnight accommodations for dogs, grooming, training facilities, and a retail shop, Paws & Pints has it all. The 3.5-acre park boasts real grass, walking paths, and interactive dog play areas. The owners recently shared their insights on running a new business and the challenges they faced, including attracting and retaining employees. To mitigate turnover, they offered excellent health insurance and stability through scheduled raises. With multiple offerings to promote, they have found it challenging to effectively communicate all their services. Paws & Pints continues to strive towards providing a complete experience for pet owners and their furry companions, ultimately creating a thriving and welcoming community.
