## Description

Buttle is a UK children’s charity focused on helping children and young people whose lives are affected by poverty. Its purpose is to provide tailored grants for the things that matter in childhood, so financial hardship does not define a young person’s future. Support can help children access practical essentials and activities that strengthen their education, wellbeing and home environment. Examples include books, school shoes and school trips, with grants shaped around individual needs.

Through its grants, Buttle aims to help young people play, learn, build confidence and shape their own futures. The charity also shares information about its grant criteria and eligibility, and provides updates, impact reports and research on its work. Its approach includes listening to young people and supporting their voices in decision-making.

Buttle welcomes donations from individuals and works with corporate partners, philanthropists and trusts to fund its support. Based in the UK, the charity publishes information about its impact, policies and programmes, and invites eligible applicants and supporters to learn more through its website.
