## Description

Boise Valley Fly Fishers (BVFF) is an Idaho fly fishing club based in the Treasure Valley. Founded in 1971, it is the state’s oldest fly fishing organization and has more than 300 members. The club promotes fly fishing access, conservation, and education, welcoming both experienced anglers and newcomers to many activities.

BVFF holds regular meetings featuring local experts and offers classes, demonstrations, and clinics in casting, aquatic insect knowledge, fly tying, and other angling skills. Members can join group outings to nearby and regional rivers and lakes, social gatherings, coffee meetups, and fishing challenges. The organization also shares regional water conditions, fishing updates, articles, newsletters, and fly-tying resources through its website and member platforms.

Conservation is a central part of BVFF’s work, with projects supporting local lakes and rivers, habitat improvement, public access, and Boise River gravel augmentation. Members can contribute to the Greenbacks for Redds initiative through the club’s online store.
