## Description

BWS Doulas is a birth and postpartum support team serving families in Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio. The agency offers personalized, inclusive care from pregnancy through the early days of parenthood, helping parents feel informed, prepared, and supported without taking over their decisions.

Services include prenatal preparation, labor and birth support, and in-home postpartum care. Doulas offer education, birth-planning guidance, comfort measures, emotional support, and advocacy during labor. After birth, they can assist with newborn feeding, parental recovery, rest, and light household needs. Virtual doula support is also available.

BWS Doulas combines evidence-based information with cultural wisdom and respect for parental intuition. Its resources include childbirth preparation classes, Evidence Based Birth® classes, workshops, and the online BWS Parent Lab, which offers courses and ongoing guidance for pregnancy, birth, and early parenting. The team also provides lactation guidance and resources related to newborn sleep and postpartum recovery.

Founded by April Kline and Dr. Jodi Cunningham, BWS Doulas brings experience in midwifery, lactation, childbirth education, public health, and research to its compassionate, individualized approach.
