## Description

By Iloон is a registered home-based childminding service in Emmen, Netherlands, run by Ilona Prins. With a background in social pedagogical work (SPW), completed in 2011, Ilona established the service in her home in 2021 after it was approved by the Dutch Health and Youth Care Inspectorate (GGD). Her approach centers on attentive, personal care and helping children and parents feel safe and supported.

The service welcomes babies, young children and school-age children, with care arranged to suit different routines. A typical day includes free play, meals and snacks, songs, stories, creative activities, outdoor play, rest time and school collection for after-school care. Ilona aims to provide a calm, welcoming setting for play, learning and relaxation.

Care is offered Tuesday through Saturday, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The listed hourly rate is €7 per registered child, excluding childminder-agency fees; flexible hours can be discussed. By Iloон is affiliated with childminding agency ViaViela, and eligible families may qualify for childcare allowance.
