## Description

Climate Action Against Disinformation (CAAD) is a coalition dedicated to combating the spread of climate mis/disinformation. Their recent report, Deny, Deceive, Delay (Vol 2), sheds light on the disinformation prevalent at the COP27 climate summit. The report reveals that various actors tied to the fossil fuel industry spent approximately $4 million on paid advertisements through Meta, spreading false claims about the climate crisis, net-zero targets, and the necessity of fossil fuels. It also uncovers Exxon's accurate climate projections in the 1970s, despite publicly denying the connection between fossil fuels and climate change.
