## Description

Community Archives is a brand that specializes in preserving and providing access to documentary materials related to Belleville and Hastings County, Ontario. Established in 2010, it is a collaborative effort involving the City of Belleville, the County of Hastings, and the Hastings County Historical Society. The Community Archives holds substantial collections of archival materials that offer valuable insights into the history of these communities. These materials are stored in controlled environments to ensure their preservation and are made available for research purposes. The Community Archives is financially supported by both the County of Hastings and the City of Belleville and is administered as part of the Community Services Department. To stay updated with their activities, you can follow them on Facebook and Twitter. Additionally, they have thousands of photographs available on Flickr and offer digitized textual records through their online catalogue and the Internet Archive. The brand also publishes a regular newsletter called The CABHC Patch. If you have historical materials related to the area, you can bring them to the Community Archives for safe storage or loan them for digitization. Stay connected with the Community Archives of Belleville and Hastings County to explore their rich collection of historical materials.
