## Description

Cactus Capital is a student-led microgrant initiative that helps students turn early ideas into action. Its offer is simple: $100 for your idea, with no strings attached and no equity taken. Students and builders can apply at any stage, including when they have only an idea and no working product, making the grants accessible to people who are just getting started.

Recent grantees reflect the range of projects Cactus Capital supports. Their ideas include a brain-controlled exoskeleton, an effort to improve Amber Alerts, a networking platform for entrepreneurs, AI-powered therapy plushies, music performances using computer vision, and rhetorical judgment data to support AI. The initiative is run by Aditya, Kartikeya, Nayel, and Arhan, and lists Songbird Therapy, Rome, and Venture Camp among its supporters. Cactus Capital also invites questions by email and encourages visitors to support its cause. By offering small, straightforward grants, it aims to give student builders practical help in getting promising ideas off the ground.
