Children's Advocacy Centers of Texas (CACTX) is a statewide association that promotes the efforts of local children's advocacy centers in Texas. Their mission is to provide hope, healing, and justice to child victims of sexual and physical abuse. CACTX and its network of children's advocacy centers have helped over one million children and their families impacted by abuse achieve safety, justice, and healing.

They operate on the belief that the best interests of the child victim should be protected throughout the investigation and prosecution stages and beyond. CACs offer a child-friendly environment where victims can feel safe and supported. CACTX provides leadership, collaborates with various sectors, and implements evidence-informed strategies to effectively address child sexual abuse.

They aim to create lasting systemic change and prevent child abuse from occurring in the first place. With a dedicated staff, a passionate board, and the support of donors, volunteers, and partners, CACTX is actively working towards building a safer Texas for future generations
