## Description

The Polish Cadet Class Association (Polskie Stowarzyszenie Klasy Cadet) supports the Cadet, an international, two-person monotype sailing class designed in 1947 by British designer Jack Holt for young sailors. The association describes the class as a place where generations of young people have developed their character and sailing skills since 1947. Cadet boats have a hard-chine hull, daggerboard and Bermudan rig with a mainsail, jib and spinnaker. While boats were once often built by their owners, current class rules permit only boats made by licensed manufacturers.

The association serves sailors, families, clubs and race organisers by sharing news, competition results, event calendars and information about Polish, Central European, European and world championships. Its website also provides sailor and club lists, regatta entry information, photographs, videos, class history, statutes and details about its board and contacts. The calendar features events in Poland and abroad, including qualifying regattas and national championships. Through these resources, the association helps the Cadet sailing community follow events, find practical information and stay connected.
