## Description

CADIS (Centro de Apoio e Desenvolvimento Individual e Social) is a Brazilian nonprofit civil society organization founded in 2006 by members of the Lions Club. Originally established as CADEVISG to support people with visual impairments, it first focused on rehabilitation, school inclusion, and preparation for employment, offering activities such as Braille and Soroban instruction. In 2025, following a new phase of management, the organization adopted the CADIS name to reflect its broader mission.

Today, CADIS supports people with disabilities and individuals experiencing social vulnerability, including children, young people, adults, and older people. Its work promotes individual development, autonomy, inclusion, and community wellbeing through social projects, rehabilitation, and educational and therapeutic activities. Services listed by the organization include social assistance, psychology, psychopedagogy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, psychomotricity, physiotherapy, massage therapy, art therapy, and music therapy. CADIS also plans and delivers projects intended to expand opportunities and strengthen citizenship. The organization invites people to participate as volunteers, donors, or sponsors, including through contributions of materials or resources.
