## Description

Caerfaisn, founded by Jonathan Holifield, is dedicated to building robust, governed artificial intelligence infrastructure tailored for defense and intelligence sectors. Recognizing a critical operational gap, Holifield aimed to address the challenges posed by frontier models, which, while capable of strong reasoning, require stringent external workflow control and accountability in high-stakes environments. The company's innovative solution, known as the Mech, incorporates an external governance layer that provides a deterministic structure and necessary human oversight without altering the underlying AI models. Caerfaisn’s current initiative focuses on government and defense applications, transforming the Mech into a protected, deployable black-box infrastructure designed for secure evaluations. By emphasizing model-agnostic and audit-ready capabilities, Caerfaisn offers a unique product that enables the safe use of frontier AI, ensuring trust, traceability, and mandatory human authority are maintained. With a strong background in complex project management and multi-stakeholder coordination, Holifield’s leadership ensures the company's offerings are precisely aligned with the needs of its specialized clientele.
