The highlight of this show is that all the games on display are set for free play, allowing attendees to immerse themselves in endless gaming fun without the need for quarters. The upcoming California Extreme in 2023 is scheduled for August 19-20 at the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara. The event runs from 11 am to 2 am on Saturday and 11 am to 9 pm on Sunday. Pre-registration may be closed, but tickets will be readily available at the show. Additionally, attendees have the opportunity to book a room at the special CAX rates for their convenience. California Extreme aims to revive the nostalgia of arcades and educate about the rich history of pinball machines and video games. By showcasing privately owned collector's items, the event hopes to remind everyone that these games were once widely accessible. The show also provides a platform for game enthusiasts to buy, sell, and trade various gaming artifacts. One of the major highlights of California Extreme is the opportunity for attendees to indulge in unlimited free play. Hundreds of games, including rare and unreleased titles, are available for exploration. It's a chance to rediscover popular classics and experience lesser-known gems that were never widely distributed. California Extreme is a must-visit for arcade enthusiasts, collectors, and anyone looking to relive the golden era of gaming. ## Industries - 🎮 Games - 🍿 Arts and Entertainment - 🎸 Hobbies and Leisure - 🎸 Antiques and Collectibles _(under Hobbies and Leisure)_ ## Links - [twitter](https://twitter.com/@CAExtremeOrg) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idRMEBwAYP/w/230/h/92/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1720317221343) - icon _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idRMEBwAYP/w/400/h/400/theme/dark/icon.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1720317221422) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Zest | #e47c25 | accent | | Heavy Metal | #242625 | dark | | Portage | #7f78e8 | light | ## Fonts - Raleway — asset _(google)_ - -apple-system — asset _(system)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
