## Description

CAHIP Northern California (CAHIP NorCal) is the Sacramento-area chapter of the California Agents and Health Insurance Professionals and the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals. The organization represents insurance professionals who help employers and individuals address health coverage needs. Its work centers on advocacy, education, professional development, and networking, with a mission to strengthen members’ ability to meet Californians’ health, financial, and retirement security needs.

CAHIP NorCal provides members with industry education, legislative updates, professional resources, networking opportunities, and opportunities to participate in public affairs and community service. It follows developments across large and small group managed care, wellness programs, individual health plans, long-term care, disability insurance, and Medicare supplement coverage. Members can take part in meetings, events, a networking forum, a Leading Producers Round Table, and professional credential programs such as Registered Employee Benefits Consultant. The chapter also offers a member directory, job postings, volunteer opportunities, and a speakers bureau.
