Central Alberta Immigrant Women’s Association (CAIWA) is a charitable, not for profit organization committed to ensuring the social, economic, and cultural inclusion of immigrant women and their families in Central Alberta. Since 1991, CAIWA has been dedicated to serving the most vulnerable and isolated segment of the community by providing essential programs and services. These offerings include educational workshops, information sharing sessions, employment training, essential skills, and leadership programs.

The association's vision is to empower immigrant women and their families to achieve their full potential as valued members of Canadian society. By doing so, CAIWA believes that these empowered individuals will not only contribute to the community today, but will also shape future generations of valuable Canadians. With a focus on newcomers from diverse regions such as Europe, Middle East, East Asia, Africa, South America and Central America, CAIWA continues to make a meaningful impact on the lives of thousands in Central Alberta
