## Description

**Brand Description: CAL - Coordinadora d’Associacions per la Llengua Catalana**

CAL, or the Coordinadora d’Associacions per la Llengua Catalana, is a civic organization established in 1996, dedicated to promoting the use and normalization of the Catalan language and culture. Operating primarily in Catalonia, VAL, and the Balearic Islands, CAL aims to create a cohesive society where Catalan is widely spoken and embraced in all aspects of life.

Through an array of initiatives, including the vibrant CORRELLENGUA and community dialogue gatherings like XERREM JUNTS, CAL fosters social interaction in Catalan and celebrates linguistic diversity. The organization also recognizes outstanding contributions to the Catalan language with the PREMIS JOAN COROMINES.

CAL thrives on collaboration, relying heavily on volunteers and community support to achieve its goals. By creating networks and engaging individuals across the Catalan-speaking territories, CAL continues to strengthen identity and promote a living language for a free nation. Join CAL by contributing, volunteering, or creating local hubs to help keep the Catalan language vibrant and relevant.
