## Description

The California Four Wheel Drive Association, Inc. (Cal4Wheel), established in 1959, is the largest organization of its kind in California, dedicated to promoting responsible vehicle-oriented outdoor recreation. With over 8,000 members and 160 clubs, Cal4Wheel represents 4WD enthusiasts and advocates for preserving access to public lands and trails. The association organizes a diverse array of family-friendly events across California, which are solely run by volunteers. Participants can enjoy various trails suitable for all drivers and vehicles, fostering community, skills development, and a passion for off-highway driving. Cal4Wheel’s commitment extends beyond events; they work diligently to prevent legislation that restricts vehicle access and collaborate with agencies to develop new trails. Members can join through various membership options, gaining benefits such as access to exclusive events, news, and resources. Whether you're an avid off-roader or a supporter of conservation efforts, Cal4Wheel serves as a valuable platform for both recreation and advocacy in the outdoor community.
