# Calculus Ecology - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `calculus-ecology.co.uk` ## Description Calculus Ecology is a small, flexible ecological consultancy based in East Sussex on England’s south coast. The queer-owned business supports clients with ecological advice, surveys, mapping and training, drawing on experience in protected habitats and designated sites, particularly coastal areas. Its services include expert Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) advice, habitat banking, River Condition Assessments, botanical and habitat surveys, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) mapping, and BREEAM assessments. The consultancy undertakes rare plant surveys, including for challenging-to-identify groups such as orchids, and advises on work affecting Schedule 8 and other protected plant species, rivers and streams, priority habitats, coastal areas, ancient woodland, and nationally or internationally designated sites. Calculus Ecology also provides GIS training for BNG, along with instruction in botany, habitat identification and other ecological topics. It regularly works across much of South East England, including Sussex, Kent, London, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight and several surrounding counties, and is open to enquiries from other areas. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Environmental Science _(under Science and Education)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id4ux2KlxP/w/64/h/64/theme/light/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793016749976) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Catskill White | #ecf3f6 | accent | | Cafe Royale | #7d3c0a | dark | | Link Water | #d3eef5 | light | ## Fonts - open_sans — asset _(custom)_ - open_sans — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
