## Description

California Storm is a youth fastpitch softball program operated by Salinas Girls Fastpitch Inc., a nonprofit organization based in Salinas, California. Established in 1992 as Salinas Storm, the organization develops young athletes through competitive play, team programs, and opportunities to pursue softball beyond high school. Its teams compete in Premier Girls Fastpitch tournaments across age divisions from 10U through 18U, with several teams reaching national-level competition and alumni continuing their careers in college. The organization also shares player recruiting profiles and information about college camps and clinics.

Beyond youth fastpitch, California Storm hosts approximately 30 to 36 girls’ fastpitch tournaments and five to six baseball tournaments each year, typically welcoming 20 to 24 teams per event. Its offerings include baseball and slowpitch softball tournaments, as well as an adult softball league with co-ed, men’s, women’s, and men’s fastpitch divisions. The league runs four nine-week seasons annually, with play Monday through Thursday.
