## Description

The California Art Club, founded in 1909, is a thriving 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting contemporary-traditional fine art. With a rich history and a commitment to keeping traditional art alive, the club offers a wide range of programs and events that celebrate the heritage and practices of fine arts worldwide. As one of the oldest, largest, and most active art organizations in the country, the California Art Club offers a variety of exhibitions, including the Annual Gold Medal Exhibition and other current and upcoming exhibitions. Artists can benefit from programs such as art critiques, mentorship programs, demos, workshops, retreats, and youth and family programs. In addition to supporting artists, the club also offers opportunities for art enthusiasts to engage with the art community through events like opening receptions, art talks, and tours. Membership, donations, and purchases from the CAC store help support the club's mission and programs. Join the California Art Club and be a part of American art history. Explore the world of traditional fine art and support the vibrant art community.
