## Description

California Local is an online brand that connects local citizens with elected officials and community groups, while also delivering impactful journalism that tells the stories of those communities. Our mission is to keep the community informed and empower individuals to make positive changes. Through our partnerships and alliances, we work together with media allies, community allies, and strategic partners to support and sustain our work. Our media allies are local newsrooms that provide essential news coverage, and we encourage individuals to become members and subscribers of these local newsrooms to support local journalism. Additionally, we collaborate with community groups and government agencies to help share their stories and get the word out through impact reports, partner content, blogs, and newsletters. Our goal is to help organizations tell their stories more effectively. Join the California Local Media Alliance and become a part of our vibrant online community where you can stay informed, engage with your community, and participate in your self-governance. Together, we can make a difference!.
