- **Primary alias:** `californiascreditunions.org`

## Description

California's Credit Unions, encompassing the California Credit Union League and Nevada Credit Union League, serve as the pivotal trade associations advocating for credit unions across both states. Evolving from a grassroots organization founded in 1933, they have transformed into a professional entity dedicated to advancing the credit union sector. The leagues provide robust support encompassing advocacy, compliance resources, training, and education endeavors, ensuring credit unions navigate ever-changing regulations effectively.

Their services include a comprehensive learning platform, the Financial Counselor Academy, and various community impact initiatives tailored to enhance the financial security of their members. Through networking opportunities, awards, and resources, such as the Quarterly Performance Reports and compliance alerts, the leagues empower credit unions to thrive. Furthermore, they promote essential advocacy efforts, championing policies that benefit both credit unions and their members. The organization remains committed to reinforcing the people helping people philosophy that underpins the credit union mission, building a brighter future for financial inclusion in the communities they serve.
