## Description

Call Me ClayZ is a Cedar City, Utah-based ceramics community focused on helping young people explore the ceramic arts and grow through creative practice. Its youth summer camps and workshops offer participants opportunities to learn from experienced ceramics practitioners, develop artistic skills, and create with clay. Activities can include hands-on work such as throwing pots on a wheel and building sculptures from clay slabs. The organization presents ceramics as a rewarding outlet for self-expression and a tactile, potentially therapeutic alternative to screen-focused activities.

Call Me ClayZ aims to nurture positive creativity, support growth in the ceramic arts, and empower future generations. Its mission also includes providing collegiate scholarship opportunities for young people studying the arts. The organization welcomes community support through donations, volunteering, events, and fundraisers, and it has received a mini grant from the Cedar City Arts Council. Call Me ClayZ also hosts artist gatherings and demonstrations, including a planned meet-and-greet and demo at Cedar City’s Midsummers Night Renaissance Festival.
