About
Description
Child Parent Institute (CPI), formerly known as California Parenting Institute, is a highly regarded parent education and children's mental health agency that has been serving families in Sonoma County since 1978. CPI offers a comprehensive range of services to support families in their parenting journey and promote children's well-being. Their programs include parenting classes, such as the Triple P Online and Fathering in 15™, which provide evidence-based strategies and guidance for parents.
They also offer autism support services for families caring for children with autism, as well as foster parent training and in-home parent education. CPI provides counseling services for pregnancy and postpartum support, as well as specialized therapy for infants, preschool-age children, and their families. They have a dedicated resource guide for parents and caregivers to access valuable information and support.
Additionally, CPI operates the New Directions School, a non-public school that offers special education and mental health services for adolescents. CPI is committed to advocating for policies that safeguard families and protect children. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, they rely on donations to continue their crucial work in the community.
