## Description

Calgary Search and Rescue Association (CALSARA) is a dedicated 100% volunteer organization that commits to aiding those in distress. With a mandate focused on missing person searches, assisting law enforcement with evidence searches, and civil emergency response, CALSARA is a reliable ground search and rescue team equipped to handle a variety of terrains, including urban, rural, and backcountry settings. Operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, CALSARA deploys a range of resources, including rescue and support vehicles, a command post trailer, a mountain bike team, an incident management team, off-road vehicles, and metal detectors. CALSARA works in collaboration with government agencies like the Calgary Police Service, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the Calgary Emergency Management Agency, Parks Canada, and the Calgary Fire Department. The organization's operations are made possible by the support of generous businesses, organizations, charities, and individuals in Alberta. To learn more about supporting CALSARA, visit their website's "Support Us" section or contact them via email or phone.
